George Turner WW l Soldier

George Turner was in a machine gun battalion during WW l. During one of the last battles of the war, George didn't get the word when the cease-fire was ordered; he got into trouble because he continued firing at the Germans.

Raymond Turner Comment:

Adron always kept gasoline on a dock, which was about the same height as his pickup truck bed, so he could easily siphon gas from the barrel into his pickup. His nephew, Raymond Turner, commented that Adron was always generous, and gave him gas when he didn’t have enough money to buy it.
