~ Fishing Story ~

Wade Turner (Terry Lynn Turner's 2nd cousin) and I went out to the corral where Adron, Raymond Turner and George Turner were branding cattle, to ask if we could go fishing in Uncle George’s tank. As we walked out to where they were working, I looked around at Wade, and saw that he was carrying the fishing poles that we had made. I knew, at that point, that our chances of going fishing were slim, because I knew that the men would not approve of our fishing equipment, which consisted of sticks, string and a bent safety pin for a hook. The men got a big laugh at our expense.
